The "Soldier's Effects" record shows that his widow Georgina received his Outstanding Pay of £4/7/4.
This record shows that he enlisted on 26th August, 1918, and was not eligible for a War Gratuity.

[Note: I sent a request to The Keeper of The Rolls, SNWM, Edinburgh Castle, to ask that DANIEL McLEISH be added to the Rolls for The Tank Corps. I have since received an email confirmation that they will do this. It will take several weeks for the effect of their changes to appear on their website. They did send me an advance copy of the Roll which now includes DANIEL McLEISH.]
